Title: The Wolf.
Medium: Acrylics on canvas.
Size: 11×14 inches.

I did this painting as a gift for my husband, and he loved it! πŸ˜€ Managed to keep it as a secret too, so it was a big surprise for him. πŸ˜‰

This furry guy was painted on a Fredrix Nature Core Paint Board and I have to say, it was an absolute dream painting on this surface! So smooth and sturdy and I’ll definitely be buying more of them! πŸ˜€

I used Derivan Matisse Flow acrylic paint. It’s made right here in Australia and I just love their colours and the consistency of the paint itself. It’s high quality and light fast and definitely worth the price. πŸ™‚

I have a few more wildlife portraits planned in the near future and there will be some big kitties among them. πŸ˜‰

On a side note, there are loads of online tutorials with tips and tricks on painting fur and Lachri’s Youtube Channel helped me so much with this! Go check it out if you want to learn how to paint fur, or pretty much anything else. πŸ™‚

Love this one! The detail on the fur is amazing- I just want to reach out and pet him.

Such a lovely painting πŸ™‚
The colors go so well together, and his expression is really nice.
Big kitties? Oooh, looking forward to seeing what you’ll be painting next!
