We’re well into 2016 now, but I thought it’d be nice to have a little look back at the things I accomplished last year. So here’s what I got up to. šŸ™‚

I started the year with a couple of mermaids in acrylics (one, two).

Then along came a wolf in March, also in acrylics (a gift for my husband šŸ˜€ ). There was a photo shoot at our local Botanic Gardens.

Followed by a lioness painting in April.

May was all about ACEOs in acrylics: Linger, Glance, If Only, Superb Fairywren.

June was a month of cats; a snow leopard painting on the cover of a journal (a gift for my best friend šŸ˜€ ), and a portrait of my own kitty, Nova.

At the beginning of July I painted a tiger. The rest of the month was spent developing my own plushie pattern. šŸ™‚

I made plushies throughout August. šŸ™‚

In September I painted another cat, a couple of Sparrows with an accompanying video, and also made a plushie unicorn.

October was filled with a new medium – colour pencils! šŸ˜€ I created a flower, an eagle for a very special lady, and a horse. I also made a custom plushie based on the client’s own horse.

November saw the creation of two rainbow unicorn plushies, a hawk in colour pencil and a new website. I also purchased some amazing colour pencils and made a horse portrait with them. There were also a few sunset photos at a local landmark, the Dog Rocks.

I finished the year with a peacock in colour pencil and a pink plushie unicorn for a lovely customer in December. šŸ™‚

In in all, it was a productive year for me and full of new things I’d never tried before. šŸ™‚ There are new things happening already this year, but I can’t speak of them…yet. šŸ˜‰

So what did you get up to in 2015? šŸ˜€
