I love sharks.
I’ve loved them since I was about 10 years old. I used to draw them all over my school books, bought or borrowed every book I could find about them so I could learn as much as possible about these fascinating creatures. I simply adored them.
Blue sharks and Nurse sharks are in my top three, but Great Whites always have been and always will be me favourite.
It’s been a few years since I drew a shark, but then I came across the wonderful photography of George Probst sharkpix.com, and he kindly gave me permission use his photo as a reference for this artwork!

Beautiful work! I love the softness of your colouring. Have you been on any shark diving tours, they have some good ones at Pt Lincoln, where I’m from π

Thank you so much Anne-Marie! π No, I haven’t – yet. I’d really love to be in one of those perspex shark cages with great whites all around me. π
