"Serene" Watercolour painting, A5

Sennelier l’aquarelle watercolour pans on Arches smooth watercolour paper. A5 (6×8 inches).

I have two words for you: Pink. Hair.

Pink hair!!! πŸ˜€

I would totally go pink if I didn’t have to bleach my locks first. That’s a step I’m not ready to take. Maybe I’ll just wait until it’s all grey and then go pink, lol?

But enough about my hair. This was a fun little artwork to practice using watercolours and not adding coloured pencils at the end. I do love that method of course, but sometimes I just like the idea of using one medium for a painting. I did use a tiny bit of white gouache at the end, but I still consider it a watercolour painting.

My printer uses lightfast pigmented ink that’s also waterproof, so the lines were printed just like my last artwork.

I’m working on another one of these little portraits and then I’ll do something a bit more involved for the painting after that. Follow me on Instagram and Twitter for sneak peeks!
